  4. <p>The base is seven miles northeast of Falmouth with the Massachusetts ANGB's 102nd FW flying the F-15A/B. Adjacent is Cape Cod AFS, Cape Cod US Coast Guard Station, and Camp Edwards Army National Guard Training Site. The facility was formerly an Air Force Base and was named for First Lieutenant Frank J. Otis, a pilot and flight surgeon who was killed in an air crash in 1937.
